I built Aiden as a medium-height, paleish blond character. She specializes in Blood- and Death- Magic, as well as being VERY good at Fire Magic. She is generally prone to dying (over 50 times this month), especially to the Charr, even though she is level 10.

Because Aiden is in Post-Searing, she is usually accompanied by a Healer now. As a result, she isn’t getting very rich. 😦

I’ve been taking a break from her for the past couple weeks, as well as Cleanthe.

Aiden relies on her wits to stay alive. Her offense is as strong as possible because her defense is weak~~the goal is to kill the enemy quickly so it can’t inflict much damage~~the longer they have to deal 5 damage per second, the more damage they’ll deal.

Aiden’s skills don’t include too many healing spells. Her armor (as an elementalist) leaves much to be desired, and her weapons don’t really deal much damage, either. She must NEEDS travel with a party.

I built Cleanthe as a tall, pale female with dark red hair and a very sweet face. Her personality is gentle and taciturn–she generally lets Aidan do most of the talking. Cleanthe reserves her energy while Aiden, Rinn, and Mirelle are more energetic.

Cleanthe in a nice shot

Cleanthe’s Melandru’s Stalker is named Duir after Duir Arathi. Cleanthe’s build, when she was weaker, depended heavily on Duir, but she is now often on her own.

The Mirade dynasty has been the ruling family for at least 100 years. It is therefore very expansive. Small pockets of the family can be found through all of Istirin-Livonde. One such group can be found in Cleanthe’s and Duir’s native village: the Mirade family in that village consists of Cleanthe, Rinn, …

Mirelle Meynir

I built Mirelle as a small, pale female with blond hair. I intentionally made her very short so any pets she uses are much larger than she is. Also, Mirelle was made to make the monsters more formidable; Mirelle only comes to waist-height on Hulking Stone Elementals.

I captured a Wolf (level 2) while Mirelle was still a level one character. He was approximately up to her waist when she tamed him. I immediately brought him into the Catacombs to get boots. It is very useful to assign him to a target and not cast any offensive spells, merely healing ones for Tuath. Tuath is strong enough to kill lots of things on his own, and by not using offensive spells, the creatures don’t register me as “attacking.” They therefore don’t target me.

After a maximum of 5 hours (probably less than 3), Tuath has gotten much larger. By level 3, Tuath is as tall as Mirelle’s shoulder! (Many Guild Wars pets grow as they level up.) Tuath is going to be huge!

I have found that it is helpful to not officially select a second profession until you’ve at least gotten the better armor: having a pet is very useful, but different missions require different skills.

I have generally been using FLARE (level 5) a couple times before sending in my canine cavalry. After that, the opponent’s death is generally inevitable.
